SEI: Little Man

Last Friday, I shared this layout using the Hello Handsome collection over at the SEI Lifestyle Blog

Little Man
Supplies
Hello Handsome (Gentleman, Blazer, 6x6 pad, Stickers, Kraft Chips)
Sweet Sora (Puff Stickers)
Dill Blossom (Big Brads)

I started my page with a plain piece of white cardstock, and a 6x9 piece of patterned paper. I layered a 3x9 piece of patterned paper along with a 1x7.5 flag/banner to the bottom of the background piece. The photo went down on the center/left of the page, while I lined the right side of the page with some different sized squares. The top square is 3.5x3.5, and the bottom two measure 3x3.

I finished up my page by embellishing the squares, and adding a bit of journaling to the bottom right corner.

SEI: Beach Picnic

Today, I'm sharing a project that was up last month over at the SEI Lifestyle Blog using the Spring Picnic collection.

Beach Picnic
Supplies
Spring Picnic (Picnic Basket, Grandma's Blanket, Dad's Boutineer, Clear skies, Family Gathering, Stickers, Alphabet Stickers, Veneer Pieces)
Noteworthy (4x6 pad)

I started by making some pinwheels from a couple of the beautiful papers. While there are many tutorials on how to make these flowers, I cheated and used a die :)

For the layout, I covered about 1/3 from the top of a piece of white cardstock with patterned paper, and stitched it down. Using about 1/2 inch of the saome paper, I did the same to the bottom...overlapping my journaling card. I made a photo corner by cuttina  1 1/2 inch square of patterned paper diagonally, and layered it with my photo, 4x6 card, and 2 inch card close to the top of the page. After adding my title, I finished it  up by arranging the pinwheels along with some stickers.

SEI: Firework

Hello! For the next few days, I will be catching up on some projects created for the SEI Lifestyle Blog. You would think that I would have plenty of time to keep up since it summer...but, somehow that's just not the case...

Today, I have a 4th of July themed layout combining elements from the Forever Sassy and Noteworthy collections with the Summer Party Pad.

Firework
Supplies
Noteworthy (4x6 Paper Pad)
Forever Sassy (All Done Up, Assorted Overlays)
Metallic Basics (Gold Alphabet)
Summer Party Pad (Flowers, Labels, Straw flags, Stars, Confetti, Scrap Borders)

I started by covering the right half of my page with patterned paper after spattering a little paint along the left side, and then stitched it down. I secured a 4x6 card from the Noteworthy collection to the top center of the layout, and scattered my embellishments along the left of the page before layering on a few labels for journaling. Then, I added my photo.

I added my title cluster to the bottom right of the page using a couple labels and an overlay along with some letter stickers. To finish up, I used some scraps from the Summer Party Pad to make my borders along the top and bottom edges.
