Imaginisce: Re-purposing Themed Collections

Last week, we were re-purposing themed collections for our projects over at the Imaginisce blog. I chose to use the Perfect Vacation collection...

Banished to the Box

Supply List
Imaginisce: Perfect Vacation (This Way, Away We Go, Anywhere You Go, World Traveler, Random Stripes, Oh Snap, Good Times, You are Here, Die Cut Tags); i-Top Tool & brads; i-Rock Tool & Gems
American Crafts: Baker's Twine, White Chit Chat Thickers

Using these products for an everyday layout was easy, because most of the 'b' side papers have general patterns on them such as stripes or polka dots. I punched images from a couple of the patterns to make custom embellishments...the 'heart' this brad, and the circle that says 'You are my World', and of course camera embellishments can be used on projects of any theme.

Be sure to head over to Imaginisce...this week they are celebrating teachers!

Bella Blvd - What's New Wednesday

We're sharing projects using the newest collections today over at the Bella Blvd Studio Blog.  I chose to use the Max collection...

Snaggle Tooth

Supplies:Max: Master of Disguise, That's My Boy, Shark Attack, Paper Pieces, Treasures & Text; Lucky Starz: Ice Starz, Surf & Turf Starz; Ciao Chip: Stars & Hearts; Sienna Chipboard Alphabet: Ice; Designer Tape: Yellow Chevron, Orange Stripe

To add interest to my white background, I used a chevron punch on white textured cardstock, and arranged the punched out pieces in a pattern. I started at the top, and then the bottom to meet in the middle. Although, I ended up liking the look of leaving part of the middle section bare. I then spattered it with black ink, before arranging my elements on the page.

Be sure to stop by Bella Blvd to see the other great projects made with the most recent products!

Imaginisce: Welcome Spring, and Case Study #185

I had another birthday card to make, and am once again linking up with Case Study.  Here is the inspiration from their April muse, Jaclyn Miller...

Here is my take on it...

To You From Me

Supply List
Imaginisce: Welcome Spring (Pinwheels&Banners, Acrylic Flower Stamp); My Baby (Girl Plastic Buttons);
i-Rock Tool and Gems
American Crafts: Baker's Twine
Stampin' Up! - White Cardstock, Chalk Talk die, Vintage Wallpaper EmbossingFolder, Taupe Grosgrain Ribbon, White Organdy Ribbon, Ink (Rose Romance, Night of Navy), Sentiment (Best Yet)

The flower/vase image on Jaclyn's card made me think of this cute little stamp from Imaginice's Welcome Spring collection....I also took inspiration from the two-toned sentiment. The result is a very spring-y card, perfect for an April birthday...don't you think?

Imaginisce: My Baby

I'm using up some more of Imaginisce's My Baby collection, I really love the blues together with the soft brown...

American Crafts - Baker's Twine, Cardstock

I had some of these banner scraps left over from the last time I fussy-cut them for a I decided to use them up, by sort of clustering them together and stitching them down. They kind of make the layout I think...well, and that super cute baby, of course :)

Bella Blvd: What's New Wednesday

Today, we're sharing projects made with the newest collections over at the Bella Blvd Studio Blog.  I chose to mix and match a little...

Picture Perfect

Supplies:Molly: Selfie, Treasures & Text, Paper Pieces; Family Forever: Family Rules, Treasures & Text; Lucky Starz: Treasures & Text; Button Market: Pickle Squares; Flags: Floral, Spring Flings & Easter Things; Designer Tape: Cotton Candy Chevron; High Five Alphas: Green, Piggy-Punch

I had fun mixing elements from 3 of the newest collections. I pulled from Molly, Family Forever, and Lucky Starz to match the colors from my girls' ll year photos.  I chose gray for the background paper to match the pavement, pink to match their shirts, turquoise to match the bridge beams, and green for the trees in the background. I also threw a little yellow in there, just because I like it :)

Bella Blvd + April PageMaps

I am super excited to have the opportunity to Guest Design for PageMaps. 10 of  us from the Bella Blvd Design Team participated, you can see all of the April sketches, and our pages here.

Here is the sketch that Becky sent me...

Water Balloon Fight

Supply List:
Sand&Surf - Flying High, GPS, Alpha+Bits, Just Write Journaling Stickers, Miniatures, Ciao Chip, Stamps (Hampton Art)
Freestyle Sophisticates - Freestyle Cotton Candy
Lucky Starz - Color Wheel High Five Alpha

I loved this instagram photo worked perfectly for the design, I just trimmed a little off of the top. I had fun with the stitching, and spatters of ink...which are both things that I've just started adding to projects recently. The Sand&Surf collection had flower elements that matched so perfectly to the sketch, everything just came together so easily.
You won't want to miss seeing the rest of the April sketches, and the amazing projects. Also, be sure to check out the PageMaps blog, as Bella Blvd will be hosting a giveaway!
