Bella Blvd: What's New Wednesday

We're sharing projects made with the newest collections over at the Bella Blvd Studio Blog, today. I chose to use the Tiny Tots collection...

Tick Tock Croc

Tiny Tots: Alphabet Soup, Sweet & Sassy, Love to Learn, Borders, Treasures & Text, Trinkets, Paper Pieces; Designer Tape: Gray Dot, Red Chevron, Yellow Chevron; Flags: Baby Boy; Amorie Chipboard Alphas: Guacamole; High Five Alpha Stickers: Black-White

I started this layout by punching off-center holes out of tow inch circles. Next, I filled the circles in with three different colors of patterned paper to match the photo. After arranging the circles in a pattern for my background, I added a strip of striped patterned paper and designer tape along the left side. The photo, title and journaling went on next in a split design, to not cover up too much of my background.

Be sure to stop by the Bella Blvd blog to see more great projects made using the new collections!

Imaginisce: A Couple of Cards to Share

I've Cased a couple of cards to share today. Both cards were inspired by ones that I came across on Pinterest...

Happy Birthday

Supply List
Imaginisce - Little Princess (Happily Ever After); Welcome Spring (Spring Stripe); i-Rock Tool & Rocks; i-Top Tool & Brad, Paper Distresser
American Crafts - White Cardstock; Baker's Twine

I started out making this card to use up those circles. They were negatives from bigger circles I used on a background for a layout. Then, I used the i-rock tool to dress them up a bit + add a little more dimension. The rest of the card was inspired by this one, made by Keisha Campbell...

You can see it on her blog here.

Then next card I made because I was dying to use my new embossing folder, and I thought it would look cute on a baby card...

Wee Little One

Supply List
Imaginisce - My Baby (Blue Hippopotamus, Cardstock Die Cuts)

Inspired by this card, also made by Keisha Campbell...

You can see it on her blog here.

Pinterest is awesome when you know that you want to create something, but just really don't want to have to think about it :) I've got several board of projects pinned for those day when I'm feeling lazy!

Bella Blvd: Pinterest Inspired

We're sharing projects inspired by this photo, over at the Bella Blvd Studio Blog today....

I mixed several older collections along with the new Hello Autumn collection for a layout about my son, Oliver.

Oliver Six Years

Freestyle Sophisticates: Freestyle Saltwater; Daily Chevies: Chevy Oreo; Engaged at Last: Bachelor Extras; Scattered Sprinkles: Oreo Sprinkles; Halloween Magic: Boo Buddies; Hello Autumn: Treasures&Text, Chipboard Icons; Ciao Chip Elements: Trees; Crochet Hearts; Bell Pepper; Button Market: Outdoors; Designer Tape: Yellow Chevron; High Five Alpha Stickers: Black-White, Green

I used the arrangement of the wooden blocks in the photo as inspiration for the design of my layout. The front 6x6 chevron piece made a perfect mat for my 4x4 photo, and I liked the text at the bottom of the photo for my title. Finally, I tucked embellishments here and there for added color.

World Card Making Day 2014

Happy Word Card Making Day! We've been having fun over at the Bella Blvd Studio Blog sharing 2 new cards every hour...for twelve hours. That's a lot of inspiration :) I was feeling festive, and made two cards to share. For my first card I chose to use the Tiny Tots collection...

Happy Birthday

Tiny Tots: Flashcards YZ123; Birthday Girl: Miles of Smiles, Celebrate, Pretty as a Present; Birthday Boy: Alpha+Bits; Baby Girl: Alpha+Bits

The flashcards from the new Tiny Tots collection are such a cute way to include a toddler's age on a birthday card. Here, I mixed it up with the Birthday Girl and Baby Girl collections for a sweet little girl on her 2nd birthday.

For my second card, I use the Hello Autumn collection...

 Friends Forever

Supply List:
Hello Autumn: Autumn Floral, Daily Details, Paper Pieces, Treasures&Text, Trinkets; Designer Tape: Pony Stripe; Button Market: Red Flowers

I just love this sweet little owl couple from the Hello Autumn collection. With a couple different punches, I turned the 3x4 card into a tag. The little file folder from the Paper Pieces was the perfect size for a mat. Together, they made an adorable focal point for this card.

If you are in need of some inspiration, be sure to visit the Bella Blvd blog throughout the day , and check out all the amazing cards !

Imaginisce: Fall Themed Layout

We're sharing fall themed layouts over at Imaginisce, this week.  I chose to use some patterned papers from the Perfect Vacation collection...

The Taste of Fall

Supply List
Imaginisce: Perfect Vacation (Memories Captured, You Are Here, This Way, Die Cut Journal Tags); Little Princess (Secret Garden); i-Rock Tool & Rocks

I kept my fall layout pretty simple, using mostly papers from the Perfect Vacation collection with a little help from some green paper taken from the Little Princess collection. I wanted some variety in my cascading leaves, so I added a couple of die cut hearts. I used a paper piercer to add a little rib pattern to my big 'leaves', and just tucked them all together around the photo.

Be sure to pop in over to the Imaginisce blog everyday this week for some more great fall layout inspiration!
