Imaginisce: Birthday Cards + Little Princess

It's always good to have a stash of birthday cards available :)  Today, I'm sharing a couple that I made using the Little Princess collection from Imaginisce...

Happy Birthday 1

Supply List
Imaginisce: Little Princess (Royal Ribbon, Happily Ever After, make believe, Secret Garden, plastic buttons, i-Rock Tool & Gems)
American Crafts: Blue Baker's Twine, Silver Glitter Tape

I saw a card on Pinterest with a neat little flower similar to this one, and thought it would be fun to recreate. It was made with a 2 inch scallop punch, a 1.5 inch circle, and the i-Rock tool + gems for the cute little center.

Happy Birthday 2

Supply List
Imaginisce: Little Princess (6x6 pad, Royal Ribbon, Happily Ever After, Secret Garden, Glass Slipper, Tiara, Make Believe, i-Rock Tool & Gems
American Crafts: Cardstock (White, Craft)

I would love to have an ice cream cone like this one in real life, wouldn't you? I used 8 circles in 3 different sizes, and a banner punch for the cone. I added a little doodling to my 'icecream' scoops, and used the i-Rock tool and gems again for some 'sprinkles'.

Imaginisce: Summer Time

Today, I'm up over at the Imaginisce blog sharing some creative ways to use up scraps...

Summer Time

Supplies List
Imaginisce: Perfect Vacation ( Away We Go, This Way, Oh Snap, Memories Captured); Welcome Spring (Flutterbye)
American Crafts: Craft Cardstock, Baker's Twine, Daydream Thickers, Goodness Thickers (Black)

Honestly, it's not hard for me to use up scraps. I love to layer them, and tuck a lot of embellishments here and there. But, sometimes it's fun to add a little more detail.

For this page, I gave my scraps a little makeover by adding a notebook edge to one piece, turning another into a tag, and one more into a little file folder. It adds a bit more detail to each piece, making the page more interesting. Getting low on papers from your favorite collection? Try this...you might love what you come up with :)

Bella Blvd: Summer 2014 Release

For the past couple of weeks we have been revealing and showing off inspiration using the 4 new collections for the summer 2014 release over at Bella Blvd. Today I have a project, and links to the entire reveal for each of the 4 collections.

You can see the full collection reveal HERE

Shellin' Corn

Supply List
Hello Autumn (Borders, Time to Rake, Daily Details, Treasures&Text, Trinkets, Paper Pieces); Thankful (Alpha+Bits); Button Market (Masculine Mix); Crochet Hearts (Orange Hearts); Designer Tape (Pony Stripe); Sand&Surf (Cling Stamps [leaves])

I'm really into using circles on my projects, lately. Here, I liked the contrast of the monochromatic leaves with the colorful leaves on top to adds some interest to the background. The largest circle is grounding my photo, the second larges is under the title, and the smallest has a couple of embellishments.

Costume Party

Supply List:
Halloween Magic (Boo Buddies, Funny Bones, Ghosties, Borders, Treasures&Text, Trinkets, Paper Pieces)

This is my favorite photo from last Halloween. It's random, and no thought was put into the composition, but it captures my kids' personalities perfectly :) I started the layout by pulling all of my favorite things from the Halloween Magic collection, and just played around with the design. I cut some words from the Ghosties patterned paper, and outlined the ones I wanted to be the title with a black pen.

This collection is probably my favorite of the four. A toddler collection with bright, primary colors? Love! I had fun layering paper pieces with this one.

Imaginisce: Patriotic week

We're celebrating the 4th of July with festive projects all week long over at the Imaginisce blog.  I've created a patriotic layout using the Perfect Vacation collection...

Sparkler Fun

Supply List
Imaginisce:  Perfect Vacation (Good Times, You Are Here, Anywhere You Go, Die Cut Tags); i-Rock Tool and Gems
American Crafts: White Cardstock, Border Punch System, Aqua Goodness Thickers

This red, blue and aqua combo from the Perfect Vacation collection was perfect for an Independence Day theme. I used several star shaped punches to give my layout the proper 4th of July feel, and finished the look with the i-Rock tool to make some 'fireworks'.

Be sure to check in at the Imaginisce blog often this week so you don't miss out on any of the patriotic inspiration!
