I thought of this stamp set immediately when I saw the color story from ColouQ this week.

I don't have anything Wisteria Wonder or Lucky Limeade, so I used Lavender Lace for the purple, and Kiwi Kiss for the green...which happens to be one of my favorite colors in the whole wide world :)

I always love the sketches from Mojo Monday, but I  have a hard time with them.  I don't know why, I just never know what to put where.  So, this card took me a lot longer than I would have liked :)

I thought from the colors, and what I took from the inspiration photo, and just how the whole thing turned out....this would make a perfect Mother's Day card for my grandma.

I used the technique found here to make my border for my circle. It was really easy, and I just used the rhinestones to cover up my cut marks. That's it!

Ok, so it's very loosely based on the sketch. I started out using it, but really wanted to incorporate these butterflies onto the card. Also, instead of a border-ish banner, I stamped my sentiment on banners - and have them pointing in the opposite direction.

I thought about a small vellum butterfly where the button is on the sketch, but it just didn't look right.

I've been wanting to try this reinforced hole/tied together card thing for awhile, and it really seemed to fit this  one.  Anyway.....

I've been using this Triple Treat Flower from Stampin' Up! quite a bit lately, probably because it's still pretty new. Although, I did mix it up, and just used the punched out parts this time :)

Everything I used is from Stampin' Up! with the exception of the wide grosgrain brown ribbon, that is unknown - probably from Wal-Mart.
