CASE Study #67, Color Throwdown #169

This week's challenge from CASE Study:

Plus this color challenge from Color Throwdown (which I didn't get done on time):

Equals this card from me:

Supply List:
stamps - Stampin' Up! (Romantic Rose, It's Your Birthday)
cardstock - Stampin' Up! (Whisper White, Chocolate Chip, Taken with Teal)
ink - Stampin' Up! ( Baja Breeze, Taken with Teal, Real red)
glitter glue - Ranger (Diamond Stickles)
embossing folder - Stampin' Up! (Perfect Polka dots)
other - Stampin Up! (rhinestones, corner rounder, 1/2 inch circle punch)

I inked up the Romtanic Rose stamp with Baja Breeze, then I used the Taken with Teal marker to ink up just the large rose to make it stand out a little. This technique works pretty well for colors that are similar...a little more tricky if you have contrasting colors.
Also, since my big stamp is so detailed...I thought it would make it much too busy to stamp polka dots across the bottom. So, instead I dry embossed some polka dots, and topped them with Stickles.

Thanks for looking!
